    KEPERSURF®-162 is a fluorine-modified acrylic levelling agent, suitable for medium and high polarity solvent-based coatings, particularly excellent performance in high polarity systems(industrial baking paint, nitrocellulose paint, epoxy floor paint).

    Product features

    1.Suitable for medium and high polarity solvent-based coatings, good long wave levelling (mirror levelling) effect in high polarity coating systems (industrial baking paint, nitrocellurope paint, epoxy floor paint).
    2. Excellent anti-shrinkage performance, it is the standard choice of non-silicon levelling agents for high polarity coating systems.
    3.Excellent thermal stability, good recoating property, can be used in baking paints.
    4. Can also be used in water-based systems after neutralization with ammonia.

    Application test

    We tested the comprehensive performance of KEPERSURF®-162 and E-3772N in Alkyd PU , hydroxyl acrylic , polyester/amino , thermosetting acrylic /amino systems.

    Compare items and methods

    1. Compatibility: Add 0.1%, 0.3%, 1% and 2% additives to be tested in alkyd PU system and hydroxypropyl PU system respectively, and observe the transparency after adding different amounts.
    2. Wet film levelling: test the spray plate after thinning, and observe the surface levelling after spraying.
    3. Dry film levelling: Spray normally and observe the surface levelling of the paint film after complete drying.
    4. Wetting property : Add 0.2% additives in the alkyd PU system, spray plate after thinning to observe the wetting property;
    5. Unstable bubble performance: After adding the tested additives to the paint and diluting it, fill the same amount of paint with a test tube and observe the number of bubbles and elimination time.

    1. The shelf life is two years, starting from the date of production. When stored, the container should be sealed well, and the temperature should be between 0-40℃
