Application test
We tested the comprehensive performance of KEPERPOL®-3308W in the grinding color paste occasion,water-based acrylic emulsion system.
Compare items and methods
1.Defoaming ability when grinding color paste: add 1% defoaming agent when grinding rein-free red paste (F5RK), and compare the amount of foam in the tank after grinding.
2. Shrinkage tendency/Levelling effect: Use color pastes with different defoaming agents to prepare red paint. spraying after dilution.Observe the shrinkage phenomenon of wet film and the leveling effect of dry film.
3.Defoaming ability in acrylic emulsion systems:Add 0.2% defoaming agent to the aqueous emulsion, and observe the number of foam and the breaking speed after shaking.
Test result
1.Defoaming ability when grinding color paste:It can be seen from the experimental pictures that adding KEPERPOL-3308W has good defoaming ability when grinding.
2.Shrinkage tendency/Levelling effect:After adding defoaming agents-3308W, the wet film did not appear shrinkage phenomenon after spraying, and did not affect the film levelling and gloss after drying.The plate surface of the comparison product has many shrinkage holes.
3.Defoaming ability in acrylic emulsion systems:By observing the liquid level, it can be seen that KEPERPOL-3308W has the best defoaming ability compared with the comparison products.
