KEPERSURF®-131 is a leveling agent that particularly suitable for high temperature baking paints , it will not thermal decomposition at 150-230 ℃, excellent comprehensive performance.

Application test

We tested the comprehensive performance of KEPERSURF®-131 and B-310 in thermosetting acrylic /amino baking paint, polyester /amino baking paint.

Compare items and methods

1.Compatibility: Add 0.1%, 0.3%, 1% and 2% additives to be tested in alkyd PU system and hydroxypropyl PU system respectively, and observe the transparency after adding different amounts.

2.Wet film levelling: test the spray plate after thinning, and observe the surface levelling after spraying.

3.Dry film levelling: Spray normally and observe the surface levelling of the paint film after complete drying.

4.Wetting property : Add 0.2% additives in the alkyd PU system, spray plate after thinning to observe the wetting property;

5.Unstable bubble performance: After adding the tested additives to the paint and diluting it, fill the same amount of paint with a test tube and observe the number of bubbles and elimination time.

6.Recoatability:After adding additives to the required test system, spray the dry film after secondary spraying to test the adhesion.
