KEPERSURF®-175 is a general organosilicon levelling agent in water-based&solvent-based systems , it has excellent levelling property and slippery feeling.

Application test

We tested the comprehensive performance of KEPERSURF®-175 and T-450 in Alkyd PU , hydroxyl acrylic , polyester/amino , thermosetting acrylic /amino systems.

Compare items and methods

1. Compatibility: Add 0.1%, 0.3%, 1% and 2% additives to be tested in alkyd PU system and hydroxypropyl PU system respectively, and observe the transparency after adding different amounts.
2. Wet film levelling: test the spray plate after thinning, and observe the surface levelling after spraying.
3. Dry film levelling: Spray normally and observe the surface levelling of the paint film after complete drying.
4. Wetting property: Add 0.2% additives in the alkyd PU system, spray plate after thinning to observe the wetting property.
5. Unstable bubble performance: After adding the tested additives to the paint and diluting it, fill the same amount of paint with a test tube and observe the number of bubbles and elimination time.
6. Recoatability: After adding additives to the required test system, spray the dry film after secondary spraying to test the adhesion.

1. The shelf life is two years, starting from the date of production. When stored, the container should be sealed well, and the temperature should be between 0-40℃
