KEPERSURF®-1241 is a general wetting agent in water-based&solvent-based systems, It has a strong ability to reduce the static surface tension.

Product features

1.The greatest degree of reducing static surface tension , excellent wettability and spreadability. It can effectively improve the leveling of the system.
2.It is not stable foam and has good defoaming ability.
3.Does not affect the adhesion between layers, can be used in water-based, solvent-based, UV coating systems.

Application test

We tested the comprehensive performance of KEPERSURF®-1241 and T-4100 in water-based, solvent-based, UV coating systems.

Compare items and methods

1. Compatibility: Add 0.1%, 0.3%, 1% and 2% additives to be tested in alkyd PU system and hydroxypropyl PU system respectively, and observe the transparency after adding different amounts.
2. Dry film levelling: Spray normally and observe the surface levelling of the paint film after complete drying.
3. Wetting property : Add 0.2% additives in the alkyd PU system, spray plate after thinning to observe the wetting property;
4. Unstable bubble performance: After adding the tested additives to the paint and diluting it, fill the same amount of paint with a test tube and observe the number of bubbles and elimination time.
5. Recoatability:After adding additives to the required test system, spray the dry film after secondary spraying to test the adhesion.

1. The shelf life is two years, starting from the date of production. When stored, the container should be sealed well, and the temperature should be between 0-40℃
