Application test
We tested the comprehensive performance of KEPERPOL®-719 and commercially available similar product in the formulation of waterborne alkyd anticorrosive coatings, architectural coatings and waterborne industrial coatings.
Compare items and methods
1.Viscosity: Add 0.2% defoamer to the formula to test its effect on the viscosity of the system.2. Wet film levelling: test the spray plate after thinning, and observe the surface levelling after spraying.
2. Shrinkage tendency: Add 0.5% defoamer in the system spray or brush to observe the shrinkage of the plate surface.
3.Defoaming ability of brush coating: After adding 0.2% defoaming agent, test the defoaming performance of paint brush coating construction.
4.Gloss: Test whether the defoamer has an adverse effect on the gloss of the system.
